One of those things you know you could do without and don't desperately need it but when you get it you wonder hoe you ever lived without it! I bought this as an addition to my macbook which is huge and very difficult to transport anywhere. So this was for internet access at uni and general internet browsing at home. With the iplayer aps etc I rarely use my laptop anymore apart from uni work which i'm glad is now its sole function. This ipad has made my life so much easier and better and was much better value on amazon than getting the brand new ipad air, I like it to be a bit chunky and the screen is fab. Everything I wanted and more.

This iPad came with an american charging plug which was unsuitable for the UK and this company did not provide for the proper alternative to be supplied relying on its advice to contact Amazon for any complaints other than it specified - and of course the unsuitable plug wasn't specified! I had the ability to return the iPad but it was in perfect condition as expected. After some correspondence with Amazon I was reimbursed the cost of purchasing a proper plug arrangement so I can say that Amazon stood by me. If the company properly stood by its product without it having to be returned, I would have cheerfully given that product its five stars.

What can I say that has not already been said by scores of other satisfied people. This is a marvellous tablet and is much better than I expected. It is doing all I expected of it and much more and as each day goes by I find something else that is new to me on it. I am really enjoying using this iPad 4 and have already had my monies worth from it. I would strongly recommend anyone thinking about getting one to buy one immediately. You will not regret it.

Hate apple as I'm a pc user, and I'm used to being in control of my devices, however, you can't beat the iPad as its available when needed instead of having to start up the petrol powered pc we listen to music constantly using Spotify and a Bluetooth speaker would be lost without it. Bought a great plastic cover for the pad held it in hand fell asleep drunk woke up as it fell to the floor, as I heard a bang, smashed glass in all four corners😒 Until then it was pristine, tip of the day don't buy cover keep it on a stand in the corner playing music.

Bought this for my wife who wanted to move over from Windows laptop. Great build quality expected of Apple and everything just works. Easy to operate, add new apps and maintain. IOS updates keep it in good shape and current. The reason for 4 * is it is a bit flakey and has needed to be rebooted at times. On one occasion, we lost ALL the data after a crash. Luckily we have emails etc backed up.

Product did not state which software was loaded so difficult to identify which set of user instructions should be downloaded from website. When downloaded, instructions proved to be too full of jargon and have insufficient information of a really basic nature. How do people manage who buy this device to get access to internet? Can't access internet to get instructions; can't get access until instructions read! In short, the product should contain printed instructions sufficient to get the item working and connect to the internet for fuller instructions.

Kept talking myself out of buying an iPad ~ what do I need it for when I have a perfectly good computer and an android phone? However, a combination of peer pressure ( that's friends for you!) and a secret longing to own an iPad settled the issue. Can't say I've regretted my decision to buy, and a BIG thank you to Apple techies who dealt with what turned out to be minor difficulties in the first few days. It's great that Apple provide free technical support for a short time after purchase and registration. Just LOVE my new iPad!
