It seems odd to have to share tips to help make a £20 biro work, but if you're considering buying this, you may as well be prepared. I simply haven't used my jot too much, because of the issues below. However, it has potential to be a professional bit of kit. Therefore:
1. For heaven's sake, keep a protector on your screen or it will likely get scratched while using this stylus.
2. The jot skips about like a wobbly legged baby lamb. Clean your screen and then wash the top of your stylus carefully (you don't want to lose the plastic tip as they're really expensive to replace) with a drop of washing up liquid.
3. If skipping continues, carefully remove the plastic tip and rub the metal ball along your forehead or other greasy (!) surface. That usually solves the problem and will have the stylus running like a silky dream!
All in all, this product is overpriced and too much hassle but, having spent so much on it, I'm sticking with it.

This is actually a great stylus - I bought mine to make the most of the Kindle Fire's drawing apps and, for detailed work, it's great. HOWEVER, the stylus starts skipping after just a couple of days (I found another review online where it lasted for around 20 minutes!). Using a dab of thermal paste appears to be the universal solution - but as that costs another tenner, this stylus is over-priced (or it needs to come with the paste included). It's *really* disappointing that this product isn't designed to work flawlessly - I don't even own pens that cost this much, but even my biro is guaranteed to do what I expect it to do for a long time! I haven't stumped up for the paste yet but I guess I'll have to to keep on using the stylus. Bit of a rip-off all-in-all, and disappointingly so, because the design and functionality otherwise is really good. Thumbs down for Adonit!
