Arrived very quickly. Set it up and it booted up OK, Tried to connect to WiFi and the screen went blank, tried to reboot about 10 times and it booted twice out of these but each time the screen went blank again. Contacted Amazon, they sent me a returns authority immediately and arranged collection with a promise of a refund when they receive it back and from past experience with Amazon I have no doubt this will happen.
I ordered another identical item, this arrived the next day, connected and booted it up, connected to WiFi quickly and worked fine. The WiFi signal is weak as stated by other reviewers but by moving the box to various positions an acceptable signal was obtained.
Surfing the web is quite quick bearing in mind we have very fast Virgin cable broadband. Very pleased overall BUT the main reason I purchased this was to watch TV when Sky intermittently loses signal (this happens often with our Sky and is being investigated). This device does NOT support Sky Go or ITV iplayers but BBC iplayer works OK. I believe this is due to the chipset in this particular make as I have an Android tablet and Android phone that both support these players. I am disappointed about this but every other operation I have tried is good. If you do not want Sky Go TV then this is a great little device allowing most of the features of a tablet on your TV. I also bought a mini wireless keyboard with mouse pad combined for around £12 and would recommend buying one of these.
