3.0 out of 5 stars Don't drop it!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 March 2018
When it fell, just a normal fall from the table to the floor (although hard floor), it broke. I put it together again, but right-clicking no longer worked. I clicked it open again, easy with a knife, and noticed a couple of delicate plastic parts that join the thing together inside were broken. I tried to fix them with hot-melt glue, but then the thing wouldn't work at all. Interestingly, inside, the battery is like a little rectangular phone battery. I think, especially because of the price, it could be better made. It would cost Apple about 2 cents to have those delicate parts made more robust. They are brittle cheap plastic. But maybe that's the point. If it breaks, and you are a mouse person, you'll buy a new one. It also lacks the little light that was on the old non-rechargable mouse to tell you its charge condition. Plus, the recharge cable connection is still stupidly underneath, so you can't use it when charging up.
To summarise, I think the old non-rechargable mouse was better, so if you can get one of those second hand, a better buy. I can't tell you how many times I've dropped that, and it still works.[[ASIN:B016MUCHTS Apple MLA02Z/A Magic Mouse 2]]
