Click Here to download the 7 inch Mini Tablet Comparison Chart. Whilst the iPad Mini isn’t strictly a 7″ tablet at almost 8 inches it is close enough to count.
As you look through the raw specs of these devices and prices you will probably notice that as ever the Google Nexus 7 is incredibly value for money. It runs the latest version of Android and provides the best built in storage capacities for the money. The Galaxy Tab and Nook HD are interesting propositions if expansion is your bag as these both have a micro-SD slot which allow you to expand them by a further 32Gb. And those memory cards are so small that you could easily carry a bunch around with you.
The iPad Mini is by far and away the most expensive device, but the only non-Android small tablet worth considering. If you are already invested into the Apple eco-system then there will be a strong pull towards this tablet and if money is not a problem then the high end 4G enabled iPad Mini is the one to go for. If however you are on a limited budget and not wedded to Apple then the Google Nexus 7 is not that far behind the iPad Mini and certainly worth the asking price.
