Batteries may not be the most glamorous purchase. I’ve often had to rush out to the local shop and pay high prices because they are low on my priorities – that is until you need them. These days, they mostly get used for powering remote controls and wall clocks but to not have a stash saves taking batteries from one appliance to temporarily serve another. With this in mind, I wasn’t surprised to see that within the Electronics and Photo category batteries account for 50% of the top products sold:
So, to avoid running out, stocking up on batteries isn’t going to set your world on fire – but it may mean you get to turn on the TV and watch Love Island.
